MISSION STATEMENT: The volunteer Hospice of Southern Inyo is dedicated to enhance the quality of life for all residents and visitors of our district affected by frailty, dying and grief.

Our Voluntary Hospice is an auxillary of the Southern Inyo Hospital District, and a member of the California Hospice and Palliative Care Association.

We offer non-nursing assistance such as education, information, and family respite care.  We have also provided or paid for transportation to and from medical appointments, and lend some types of medical equipment on an as-needed basis.  Our supplies and services are free of charge

We also hold FREE blood-pressure screenings at Statham Hall, 138 North Jackson Street, Lone Pine, California, on the third Tuesday of each month from 9:00 a.m. until noon.
