SIHD Rural Health Clinic is now offering home telemedicine service
"Beginning on March 6, 2020, Medicare—administered by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)—will temporarily pay clinicians to provide telehealth services for beneficiaries residing across the entire country."SOURCE
We are pleased to announce that our Rural Health Clinic is now offering home telemed service to our community. We know our community members are staying home with loved ones and are following the CDC/WHO guidelines (Thank you). Our current strategy plan set forth by our CEO is protecting our staff, patients as well as our beloved residents at the District.
If you have a computer (Desktop or laptop), and have an internet connection, you may call the Clinic at (760) 876-1146 to schedule a "Virtual visit". These virtual visits are encrypted (End-to-end) to protect your privacy.
We know that you still need patient care during this time, but understand why you don't want to visit our clinic in person.
