S.N.F. NA Student
This course develops the skills necessary to pass the state-mandated test to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Topics include legal and ethical responsibilities, bedside care, moving and positioning a resident, general observations of a resident’s condition, and responsibilities related to care of the long-term care resident. Practical bedside skills will be practiced by the student in the nursing skills lab. The student gains clinical experience in our skilled nursing facility. The student must pass the course with a grade of “C” or better to be eligible to take the California CNA exam. The CNA student is required to complete the following prior to clinical rotations: physical, questionnaire, TB screening, confirm immunization, background check, and drug screening. The student is required to complete a Live Scan and application for the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) upon enrollment into this course.
RHC Receptionist
Compile, process, and maintain medical records of clinic patients in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the health care system. Process, maintain, compile, and report patient information for health requirements.
CT Technologist
A CT Technologist is a highly skilled professional who uses specialized computerized X-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images of human anatomy, which aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders.
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Skilled Nursing
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, compassionate nursing care to our residents. This position is responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, providing treatments, and implementing care plans developed in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The LVN ensures compliance with state and federal regulations while fostering a nurturing environment that prioritizes resident comfort and dignity.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a critical member of the healthcare team, providing direct personal care to residents in compliance with facility policies and regulations. Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, CNAs ensure the well-being and comfort of patients, assisting them with essential daily activities, including eating, bathing, grooming, mobility, and personal hygiene. This role is vital in delivering high-quality care and maintaining the dignity and rights of all residents.

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Skilled Nursing Facility is responsible for providing high-quality clinical nursing care to residents. This role encompasses comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care tailored to individual patient needs, consistent with the physician’s plan of care and facility policies. The RN serves as a supervisory leader for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), ensuring that residents receive continuous, compassionate care throughout their stay. They act as patient advocates and educators, guiding residents and families through the complexities of aging and specific health issues.
Acute Care, Registered Nurse
Provides essential support in delivering patient care and assisting nursing staff in various tasks. The CNA plays a crucial role in ensuring patient comfort and safety while providing direct personal care.
Physical Therapist Assistant
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to assist with a patient’s treatment program in accordance with federal guidelines and state practice acts.
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room/Trauma
Southern Inyo Hospital is currently seeking a compassionate and quick thinking ER Nurse to join our Emergency Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling initial patient assessments, performing laboratory work, point of care testing and associated administrative tasks. The ER registered nurse will also collaborate with ER doctors on discharge plans and create outpatient instructions for each patient that is not admitted to the hospital.
